How DWE Was Born
"DWE was always a repellent. I just didn’t know it yet."
I’ve spent years understanding what nature gives us. Herbs. Essential oils. Roots. The kind of ingredients that have been protecting and healing people long before any laboratory tried to replicate them.
So I started blending. Carefully. Intentionally. I was making a hair oil or at least, that’s what I thought I was making. And then my sister tried it. She didn’t put it in her hair. She instead used the oil as a moisturiser one evening.
Everyone was eaten alive by mosquitoes but not one single bug touched her. And then she called me immediately, eyes wide and said: “Shruti. This isn’t a hair oil. This is a mosquito repellent.”
Just like that. The product I had already made, sitting right in front of me, finally made complete sense.
